Xiaomi has presented in India in cooperation with the brand HRX a revised version of its own Mi Band 2. The new Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition has to do without a heart rate sensor, but should offer a longer battery life of up to 23 days.
Residents of India can now purchase an alternative version of the popular Xiaomi Mi Band 2, which should convince with a better battery life and a more accurate tracking. For this purpose, the tracking algorithms have been revised, which allows an even more accurate recording. To increase the battery life, the heart rate sensor was also omitted. Up to 23 days should now be possible without having to charge the fitness tracker.
Apart from these two points and a barely visible HRX logo on the bracelet, the HRX edition is no different from the normal Xiaomi Mi Band 2. With 1,299 rupees, which is equivalent to about 17 euros, it is, however, at a lower price than the previous one Model available.
For the time being, the wearable will be available exclusively in India, availability in Germany should be achieved at most via the well-known import shops. However, if the benefits of tracking are not particularly great, I would probably continue to use the Mi Band 2 because of the heart rate sensor.
